We are educators who believe that a strong foundation in mathematics is key to understanding the world around us. It is not just for scoring in examinations – it is about developing problem solving skills, improving analytical skills and increasing mental acuity for our children.
Math Tutor Singapore sets out to provide the suitable match between qualified home tutors and students. We have interviewed each tutor to verify their credentials and assess their suitability as tutors. Be it preschool math, primary school math, secondary school math or pre-university math, we will have a suitable tutor for your child!
Ms Sia has been in the education industry since 2004, having graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics), and went on to complete her NIE Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary). She has since taught in Singapore Chinese Girls’ School, Hillgrove Secondary and Zhenghua Secondary. She has also spent two years in The Learning Lab.
Ms Sia has ample experience in educating children in primary and secondary mathematics. As a result, her students often enjoy having lessons with her and are able to understand concepts easily. She believes that every child is able to do maths, slowly but surely!
Mr Yong has been inspiring young lives since 2001. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic Engineering), and went on to pursue his interest in Sports Science with Edith Cowan University. Mr Yong enjoys interacting with young children and he is able to establish rapport with children easily. He volunteers at AWWA, providing free tuition to disadvantaged children.
